1. Overview
This Warranty & Insurance Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how
Topline RV & Marine (“we,” “our,” “us”) handles warranty claims, product issues, service-related
concerns, and insurance responsibilities for storage, rentals, and repairs.
This policy applies to:
- Product purchases
- Service work (winterization, maintenance, repairs)
- RV/boat/trailer storage
- Trailer and equipment rentals
- Customer-owned vehicles or property on our premises

2. Product Warranties
2.1 Manufacturer Warranties
Most new products sold by Topline RV & Marine include a manufacturer warranty.
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and may cover:
- Defects in materials
- Defects in workmanship
- Failure under normal use
We honor all valid manufacturer warranties, but warranty approval is ultimately determined
by the product manufacturer.
Important Notes
- We do not modify manufacturer decisions.
- Some items require manufacturer inspection before approval.
- Shipping costs for warranty returns may be the customer’s responsibility unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
2.2 Items Not Covered by Warranty
Warranties generally do not cover the following:
- Improper installation or misuse
- Abuse, neglect, or collision damage
- Water intrusion caused by improper sealing or storage conditions
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by incompatible or aftermarket modifications
- Labor costs unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer
2.3 Warranty Claim Procedure
To file a warranty claim:
Email us at contact@toplinervandmarine.com with:
- Order number
- Photos or videos of the issue
- Serial number (if applicable)
- Description of the problem
We will contact the manufacturer and assist you with the process.
3. Service Warranty (Repairs, Winterization, Maintenance)
3.1 Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our service work. All repairs and winterization services performed by
Topline RV & Marine include a 30-day workmanship warranty, covering:
- Installation errors
- Incorrectly performed procedures
- Issues directly caused by our labor
3.2 Exclusions
The service warranty does not cover:
- Pre-existing mechanical issues
- Failures unrelated to the work we performed
- Parts provided by the customer (“customer-supplied parts”)
- Damage caused by frozen engines or systems if the customer delays service
- Issues caused by failure to follow recommended maintenance
- Damage caused by rodents, weather, or improper storage
3.3 Winterization Disclaimer
Winterization significantly reduces—but does not eliminate—the risk of freeze damage.
We are not responsible for freeze damage resulting from:
- Late drop-offs
- Previous improper winterization
- Faulty or failing components
- Customer use after winterization
4. Storage Insurance Policy (RV, Boat, Trailer Storage)
4.1 Customer Responsibility
All stored property must remain fully insured by the customer at all times.
You agree to maintain:
- Comprehensive insurance
- Liability insurance
- Any other coverage required for your vehicle or vessel
We do not provide insurance for stored items.
4.2 What We Are Not Liable For
While we take reasonable precautions, we are not liable for:
- Weather damage
- Rodent damage
- Acts of nature
- Theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
- Damage to customer property caused by mechanical failure
- Damage occurring before the item arrived at our facility
- Hidden or pre-existing issues that worsen after storage
Storage protects from the elements but is not climate controlled.
4.3 Customer Access, Movement & Handling
If we move or transport your boat, RV, or trailer on your behalf:
- We are not responsible for damages caused by faulty jacks, hitches, wheels, bearings, or tires
- You must ensure your equipment is in safe, roadworthy condition
5. Trailer Rental Insurance & Liability
5.1 Customer Responsibility
When renting a trailer from Topline RV & Marine, the customer assumes full responsibility for:
- Safe towing
- Proper vehicle compatibility
- Roadworthiness
- Compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Customers agree to use their own auto insurance to cover:
- Liability
- Damage
- Theft
- Injury
5.2 Damage, Loss, and Equipment Failure
You are financially responsible for:
- Damage to the trailer or accessories
- Tire or wheel damage
- Lost or stolen equipment
- Improper loading or towing
- Accidents caused by driver error
Normal wear is not charged, but avoidable damage is.
6. Insurance for Service Work and Test Operation
When performing repairs, diagnostics, or test runs:
- We are not liable for failure of unrelated components
- Pre-existing issues (even if unknown) may surface during testing
- Running an engine or electrical system under load may reveal hidden defects
You authorize our technicians to safely test systems as needed.
7. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topline RV & Marine is not responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of use
- Loss of income (e.g., missed rental opportunities)
- Damage caused by customer negligence
- Pre-existing faults
- Acts of nature
Our liability is limited to:
- Replacement of defective products (per manufacturer policy), or
- Redoing or correcting workmanship covered under our service warranty
8. Customer Acknowledgment
By using our Website, booking service, purchasing products, renting a trailer, or storing
equipment with us, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for insuring your property
- You understand the risks associated with storage and towing
- You will operate all rented equipment safely
- You understand that warranties have limitations
